Title: enabling port 3128 for free access on transparent proxy 8080

Has anyone opened port 3128 on sme trans proxy using dansguardian. It disables port 3128 by default when you enable port transparent proxy on 8080. I am looking to  open a port for free access also so I can do unfiltered access for certain machines and users on the network. Has anyone done this already?

Leave your trans proxy port as 8080 and use the dansguardian config files eg
exceptioniplist
and add the workstation IP to allow unfiltered access.

Thanks for your reply. I think I have found the solutions I'm looking for though. I will be using MS Proxy as a separate proxy using it as an open proxy for the people who need unfiltered access. It's not machine specific since our techs need to bypass it to download utilities also. Having an unfiltered port (not necessarily 3128) would have been perfect but I couldn't find the necessarry documentation.
