Title: HELP! Tried everything, still having spamassassin problems

I've tried all the stuff suggested and a few of my own devising, including forcing the config of amavis to match the desired one.

Spamassassin is still not filtering, except for the RBL check.

I upgraded an operational 6.01 server, with SA and amavis running OK, if that helps.
