Title: problems reading PGP email
Post by: kd4rdb on June 12, 2005, 04:19:55 AM
I installed SME 6.5 a few days ago to test it out before upgrading our production server, and got PGP working fine.  Fast Forward to today.... I loaded a spare PC with SME 6.0.1, and installed spamfilter and antivirus on it to closely mimic the current state of our production server.  I then upgraded to jbennett's install_horde30.sh.  This was a test to get a feel for how the upgrade would go if I chose to upgrade instead of reload the production server.

Well, I got PGP going on the new version of IMP.  I can send PGP messages just fine.  I send one to myself as a test, and when I click on it to read, I get a popup that asks for password.  No problem.  When I supply the correct password, the message pane refreshes to nothing.  a blank page.

Do I need to restart some service under horde to make this work?  I have restarted the whole server (first try, it didn't even ask me for a passphrase), after the server restart, at least it did ask for a pass phrase.

Non encrypted email can be read with no problems.

Title: didn't work on 6.6.5 rc1 either

Well, I loaded 6.6.5 fresh and ran jbennett's install_horde30.sh script, and still no joy.... must've been sme 7 that PGP worked with before.  Any clues?
