Title: remote access my server

hi all,

I am moving out of my parents house and leaving ym server here, but still need acess to the web based manager. is there any way of doing this securely? i have a network of 4 windows XP home computers and a SME 6.0 server.

any advice will be greatful

When you do a search (i.e. remote login to server manager), ensure that you click "show all results".

thanks for the advice. it was vey helpful.
i am having trouble getting access to the files though. i have set up the vpn connection and logged in as a client and i logs in successfully but i cant work out how to access the users files. any ideas??

No.  VPN is next on my list when time allows....  But I have saved this topic for future reference, it should give you a good start. There are other, search VPN and tell me how you fare. chris
