Title: still no clues what this means /etc/startmail #*************

any idea's what this cron job mail means anyone
/etc/startmail
#*************************************.*****************************************.****************************.*******************************************.********************************************.****************************.**********************.***********************.*********************.*******************.********************.*********************.*********************.*********************.*********************.**********************.**********************.************************.*******************.*************.**************.*************.*************.*************.**********#********************.***********************.*************************.*******


its really doing my head in, any help would be greatly apprecieated, thanks

I think that's verbose (or very verbose) output from fetchmail. What does this say:

/sbin/e-smith/config show fetchmail

?

You might try:

/sbin/e-smith/config setprop fetchmail \
 Verbosity --silent
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/fetchmail

But you'd be better to avoid multi-drop email - it's inherently unreliable.

    FreqOffice=every15min
    FreqOutside=every15min
    FreqWeekend=every15min
    Method=standard
    Verbosity=--silent
    status=enabled
