Title: Help how to block UPnP port
Post by: felvin on June 24, 2005, 05:28:01 AM
Hello all! any ideas or suggestion on how to block limewire and other kazaa application? Limewire using either UPnP ports or 6346 port. I tried to block using IPtables in my startup file but no effect on Limewires. I dunno how to block UPnP ports too with iptables. Thnx a lot!

I dunno about limewire, but I know it's very difficult to block kazaa and similar applications, as their protocol is designed to be adaptive to get around firewall restrictions.
