Title: MP3 Blade and Windows XP
Post by: Andrew Joakimsen on November 06, 2001, 12:31:24 AM
I cannot stream any mp3's using the MP3 blades. I get an error that says "The server recived invalid data from the client on the control connection"

Seems like the most common problem people have talked about already inhere...

You prob. use it locally and didn't register your domain-name you use for it. Once you register the domain-name the MP3 module will work (this blahblah is based on 4.1.2 but prob. is the same in 5.0)

Use Search with keyword MP3 in this forum and you see all that has been said already.

Just in case life's too easy:

I've got a proper domain name set up and it still died in the proverbials for me... sooooo... I gave the MP3 Blade a rude gesture and moved onto Andromeda (http://www.turnstyle.com/andromeda).

Luke

internal.harderforums.com and www.internal.harderforunms.com are set to 192.168.0.250 (the servers ip address) all of this is behind a NAT box that when you try to access the external IP from the internal network redirects to itself.
