Hi all, just tried to do my standard install of the pagefault yum updates, and found that pagefault doesn't resolve on any of my hosts in the US or Australia.
Has it disappeared? Is there a replacement?
TIA

The website seems to be down.
I can't access it either.

It seems that the pagefault.org domain owner (Damien Curtain) has failed to renew it on 22-Jun-2005.
If so:
1) It is a very bad news. Where are you Damien?
2) The community lost, at least, some great SME contribs. Does anyone has a public repository ot Damien's contribs?
3) The domain was dropped into REDEMPTION period.
You can check this in here (http://dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=pagefault.org).
When the parent NS servers says that one domain does not exist, it normally means that someone failed to renew it.

Nuno

The only Damien Curtain's repository I found is quite outdated (2-Jul-2002):

Does anyone has a recent full copy of Damien's excelent work (srpms, rpms, howtos)?

I'll see if I can contact Damien. Some of Damien's work has already been included in 6.5/7.0, but there is also certainly other stuff stuff we don't want to lose. However, a plea to everyone:
Please host your contribs and HOWTOs on contribs.org so that they are mirrored around the world.
We want contribs.org to be a one-stop-shop for releases, contribs and howtos. We already have some mirrors and are setting up more.
Having contribs scattered across web sites means that they will disappear when things like this happen. There is also far more chance we'll pull it into the release if we can find it easily.

Accordingly to Ian Wells website, the last update made by Damien Curtain to his website http://www.pagefault.org was on 2005, Feb 9 at 8:52pm.
This information was taken from Ian Wells Web Site Check (http://www.wellsi.com/sme/contribcheck.html). Thanks Ian.

That's a web page saved as a file from IE, they call it a Web Archive (single file).

Note: When I talked with Damien, he said he hadn't updated those pages in ages, and didn't know anyone was still using them.
