Title: sme download never ends

hi experts,

I am trying to download 6.0 & 6.01 and it is very slow & never completes. I have tried for days now.
I have a new high speed comcast internet. Everything else is fast. I have done this on my old dial up. It took all night but finished. I am useing Mozilla Firefox & have tried it both on Windows XP & Suse Linux. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem.

sounds like your connection(s) are timing out. I have had good luck from this link:
http://www.ccskavenger.info/SME/
ccskavenger is a regular around contribs.org, he has a very fast reliable connection(in my experiences).
