I'm looking forward to the release of SME 7, so I downloaded the CentOS 4 DVD last night to work with it. In reviewing the release notes, it appears that the Dell PERC2/SC RAID controller is no longer supported with the 2.6 kernel. Unfortunately, this is the controller installed on my server.
Is there any way to make the controller work, or do I need a new one? If the latter, is there any chance of getting a new controller that will recognize and use the array that's already in place? What should I be looking for in a replacement? Thanks for any suggestions.
