quick suggestion... at some point, almost all of us want to move our smeserver to a larger hard drive or to a raid 1 setup. both of these situations are very complex unless you have a tape backup or are prepared to use a third party bootable linux distro like knoppix...
i have two suggestions:
1) have an install option to "clone" a working smeserver to another installed hard drive and
2) have an option to move from a single drive to a raid 1 setup.

That one is fairly easy. You don't need Knoppix as you can do it all from the shell of the normal installer. That said, it wouldn't be hard to write a kickstart file which did this automagically.
2) have an option to move from a single drive to a raid 1 setup.
A very nice idea and one I've thought about for a while. I'd really like to avoid the cost of copying the existing filesystems to the new RAID mirror - that can be a very long time for large disks.
