Title: Anyone else getting warning mails from Sme6admin?
Post by: jumba on July 04, 2005, 08:00:36 AM
I've just installed Sme6admin on three different servers, and last weekend I got tons of warning mails suggesting that the CPU-load was very high (actually up to more than 90%)

Since this behaivour occurred on three different servers in different locations during the same hours (Night between Saturday-Sunday CET), I assume it has something to do with Sme6admin itself?

I cannot find any strange behaivour in the logs, and the servers are running normally again after a few hours of high CPU activity, so I'm not really too worried but only curious.

What could be the cause of this?

If you have antivirus software instaled on the server, and are telling it to scan all files, you will receive that message.
