Title: Problem with SME download
Post by: baders on July 05, 2005, 10:54:09 PM
Can't seem to download past about halfway mark, the download stalls every time. Other recent large downloads have operated fine. Connection is 1500/256 ADSL. Is there an Australian mirror where I might be more sucessful ?? Many thanks.

you could try this one http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/distr/smeserver/releases/6.0.1/iso/smeserver6.0.1-01-20040316.iso

telstra used to host it, and planetmirrot have older releases I think, check your ISP's hosted files they might have a copy.

hope that helps
cheers

Have a look here for 5.6 and 6.0:
ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/pub/ibiblio-distro/e-smith/

Or here for 6.0.1:
ftp://mirror.vic.3fl.net/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/
(will probably only work from some isps)
