Title: Apache File Listing
Post by: Tim Jabaut on November 07, 2001, 08:13:01 PM
Is there a way to display files in an Info Bay mush like SNAP Servers do?

I would liketo not have to have an HTML file with all of the file listings, but rather a list of files in that root directory.

I thought that Apache had a .conf switch to allow file listing.

Sure, if the files are in the html directory.  Just delete the index.html file.

I have put files in and removed the default index.html file, but I get the following error message:

You don't have permission to access /howto/ on this server.

Did you check the perms set on the ibay (through the filemanager) yet?
If it's the primary ibay only the admin account has access to it (to my knowledge)
