Title: sending mail fails

I have setup a sme server with version 6.01 I can recieve mail just fine but when I try to send using just the server the mail says it is sent but never shows up. If I use the smtp from my dsl it works fine. The setup is server only and it is behind my router. I use dyn dns to resolve my ip to my hostname. I built this as a family project for family email and a web server so it is not critical, just an experiment. DO I have to use the smtp connection from my isp ( sbd dsl) or do I keep digging to see what I am missing on the server end? Is there some good reference material I should read? The sme manual doesnt provide the info I am looking for.

check your isp. They may block all smtp traffic except through their smtp servers.
