It looks like it is not there...

mysqli:
http://www.zend.com/php5/articles/php5-mysqli.php

it is available in
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/2030810/com/php-mysql-5.0.4-2.centos4.x86_64.rpm.html

but alpha25 uses
php-mysql-4.3.9-3.7.i386.rpm

which doesn't contain mysqli
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/2042262/com/php-mysql-4.3.9-3.7.i386.rpm.html

Just from a quick Google around, it doesn't look to me like the MySQL4.1+ - PHP5 stuff has attained the maturity and stability typical of SME packages. Just my opinion ;-), for all I know it may show up in the next alpha...
