Title: help restoring a defualt template
Post by: AidansDad on July 30, 2005, 02:41:38 PM
I understand how to make changes to conf files via the custom templates.  what I don't get is how to undo changes and set the templates back to standard.  I've got a 6.5 server which I restored a 5.5 backup on and all is pretty good except squid won't stop on shutdown I think because of the e-smith-proxy-auth rpm which was installed on the 5.5 server to authenticate proxy users.

I'm trying to use sme-squid to do this now since proxy-auth doesn't seem to work on 6.5.  but when I try to install sme-squid the install fails because it can't stop squid.  so I'm thinking that I might need to restore the squid.conf back to the default template settings and that may at least begin to solve my problem.  how do I do this?

Hi!

To restore squid.conf
# /sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/squid/squid.conf
