Title: ipsec public key length problem
Post by: ilovemiami on August 02, 2005, 06:47:33 PM
Is there a way to make the default public shorter? The default one has 2048 bits. I would like to make it as short as 256 bits. I change a customer template to get a shorter key, however the ipsec can not start correctly. It complains the key is too short and should be as long as 512 bits to be the minimum.

Thanks.

SME Server does not include ipsec. You presumably have some additional software installed - if so, you should direct your question to the provider of that particular software.
