Title: Cannot Send email from my Server SMTP
Post by: gasparraposo on August 04, 2005, 02:52:38 AM
Hi all,

I would really appreciate some help here.

I have the sme 6.0.3 server running for the past 1.5 years. Just when Rogers decided to change its smtp ports my server smtp has stopped working. Is there anything i can do to get my server to start sending email via my server smtp?

I know that i can configure the rogers smtp address in the email (configuration) portion but that still does not work. I also know that rogers has changed its ports to 587 for smtp.

Please let me know if there is anything i can do. Thanks all.

Gaspar

Thank you very much for your response. My ISP that is ROGERS, will never allow that. I am not really sure what to do.

Do you know how to configure my server smtp to work with my ISP smtp? If this can be done then the problem is really solved.

Another thing is what version of horde and IMP is running on SME 6.5 cause i think it might have the solution for me.

I understand that SME7 works just fine with Rogers.
