Title: MySQL and phpBB2

I'm trying to setup a phpbb2 forum in my primary bay but I won't install because it says:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

I have created a test database called forum via the command.
Tried the root and admin usernames and checked I have the correct password. Tried the actual ip address.
I don't know enough to troubleshoot this very well!
