Title: Help me get out of Console mode
Post by: adamb1973 on August 17, 2005, 10:58:38 PM
I have seen that you can press alt+f2 (or f3) to enter "console mode", how do you get out of the "console mode" and back into the "Server Console"?

Thanks (I'm sure it's something simple.)
Adam

PS I'm trying to break out of a Windows world!!!

A (better IMO) solution is to configure the console in "login" rather than "auto" mode. You then get the console simply by logging in as "admin", and you don't leave the console running so any idle passer-by can lose all your configuration settings.

SME 7.0 will use login mode by default.

That's a nice adjustment to the system...

Lock it down tighter by default.  Good move on the part of the community.
