any comment http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/OutboundSMTPAuth for the smeserver 6.01 and 6.5??

SME 6.5rc1 already has all required files you just need to issue
the following commands

config setprop smtp-auth-proxy status enabled
config setprop smtp-auth-proxy Userid yourlogin
config setprop smtp-auth-proxy Passwd yourpassword
config set SMTPSmartHost yourprovider-smtpserver
signal-event email-update

I have had no problems it has worked since the release of SME 6.5rc1
