Title: postgre-sql and e-smith ?

hi,

I am annoyed becauce I try to install postgre-sql and a machine running sme march server v5.
Postgre refuse to install because logged on root and I can get logging in another count e-smith tell standard logging is disabled.

anyone have solution for this ?

I think I have told this before but I am convinced that E-smith server is the best linux release that I have tried out !!!

I instaled normal v 7.1.3 with rpm's for redhat!

ftp://ftp2.us.postgresql.org/pub/binary/v7.1.3/RPMS/redhat-7.1/

hi luciano,

me too I installed postgresql but after installation I can't get in because I can't login
to my sme server with other user than root or admin.

How can you get postgre works ?
