Spamassassin is dumping everything into /Maildir/new regardless of Spam-Flag:=YES according to the procmail.log (see below).
_________________________________________________
procmail: No match on "^X-Spam-Level: \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*"
procmail: No match on "^.*X-Spam-Flag: YES"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/home/e-smith/files/users/username/Maildir/new/1124624101.1867_0.e-smith-web"

However, when I look at the message headers in the /new folder there is no evidence that Spamassassin even touched the file - No Spam info in the header???
I am running sme 6.0.1 with smeplus. Spamassassin 3.0.4-1, panel by Jesper-Knudsen
The only other things I can tell is I am not scanning email in or out with antivirus, and I have no RBL or WBL defined. SpamAssassin Sensitivity: = High
I HAVE searched, ...I found people with similar issues but no answers.
Would appreciate any help on this. Please let it be something real dumb like ...you didn’t push the right button, duh!

If you're looking for something real dumb, I'm yer lad
what is in maillog?

I found that be default, I had to go into webmail and "subscribe" to the junkmail folder. :-? I don't know why it doesn't default.
That made the folder available, but I still haven't been able to get the SPAM to be moved into it. It has to be something pretty simple (like a configuration switch from off to on). I'm wondering if I have to start learning procmail to figure it out on my own. :pint:
Oh well, at least I'm getting it marked as SPAM. . .

I reinstalled the RPMs for Spamassassin and ClamAV and the thing came back to life!
...don't know, ...don't care ...glad it's working now!
It may have been something really, really dumb like procmail was NOT on! >>>eerrr, duh, ...whack myself in the head!
:hammer:

Okay, so do does anyone know where the the procedures are posted to start up Procmail? I thought it would load up by default, but how stupid am I?

First, nobody on this forum is stupid. This is a VERY smart place to be.
Now, I know there is a much better "Linux guruish" way to do this but 'I think' that procmail is part of the package. If you have Spamassassin and ClamAV procmail is working. I turn it on or off on a per user basis by using the /user-manager panel.

Also, you can use Lazy Admin Toolkit (LAT) to do it.
