Hello
fore 3 years ago i tried SME server, and used fore like 6 monts, and everything was fine.
Today i want to set up a SME server again...
But i can't get in console mode because i don't know the root password, i have tried my admin password.
reinstalltion have been tried
any suggestions, thanks in advance

"admin" and "root" password are by default the same on SME boxes so logic says if you know the admin password but cannot access root with that password you have bigger problems than a simple forgotten password :(
Did you set the machine up? Was it working OK the last time you used it?

If you log into the server manager as admin, then you can reset the system password, which may give the system enough of a nudge to fix your problem.

no not even that helps
still: Access denied

Brian,
If you are trying to connect using ssh check the remote access settings in Server Manager Panel
Make sure 'Allow administrative command line access over secure shell' is set to yes
Regards
Jack
ps make sure access is set to local network for security
