How can I add transparent caching to my E-smith 5 server ?
I am a novice with E-smith, & I just lost my only Linux man.
Any help would be appreciated.

Richard,
e-smith-transproxy:
"Description
This package sets up transparent http proxying. IPChains is configured to
capture outbound masqueraded http connections, and squid is configured to
correctly respond to the redirected requests."
Check out this link to the Contributed RPM area:
http://www.e-smith.org/contrib/rpm-index/RPM-e-smith-transproxy-0.3-1.noarch.html
That should do the trick.

Will this work on version 5 ????

Rick,
Yes, it works on SME V5. I am running two V5 servers with transproxy installed.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck.
