It seems to me I have seen an article somewhere that shows how to configure a server to run Flexbackup but instead of backing up to tape, it connects to a workstation's hard drive and puts the backup file there. Can anyone point me to this article? I swear it was on Contribs, but I can't find it. It might have been somewhere else.
Thanks,
Mindea

I'm not so sure about an article, but you can find the Contrib here...

Questions about the flexbackup contrib...
1. Local disk. Will it backup to a local disk, say an external USB drive? I'm considering this for our backup device.
2. Pre and Post Install Scripts. Can I invoke a umount on the drive after backup is completed? This will allow my client to disconnect and connect the new drive, and with automount in place SME will find the new drive and mount it, making it ready for the next backup job.
3. The Panel. How sophisticated is the panel? Can I do a selective restore from the panel? If anyone has a screen shot of the panel I would appreciate a link to some examples.
