Title: e-mail: not in my "control/locals file"
Post by: bart-s on August 30, 2005, 06:38:21 PM
Hello everyone!

I've installed SME server for the first time, so I'm not an experienced user, but almost everything works and I'm very pleased with it. The only problem is this:
When I send an email to myself, the message is bouched with the following reason:
----
<bart@mydomain.nl>:
Sorry. Although I'm listed as a best-preference MX or A for that host,
it isn't in my control/locals file, so I don't treat it as local. (#5.4.6)
---

The user 'bart' exists on the server, and I'm able to use webmail with that user. I'm using SME server 7.0 beta 1.
I've tried to find some information on google, but it's all very complicated for me...

What kind of problem is this, and what do I need to do to fix it?
Any ideas?

Please report all problems with test versions to the appropriate bug tracker, where developers can find them and take action on them.

The bug tracker for 7.0beta can be found by following the link from http://smeserver.sourceforge.net/.

Thanks.
