Title: Firewall & dialup modems
Post by: ed Form on November 19, 2001, 08:57:31 PM
If I connect a modem directly to a serial port of an e-smith server, rather than through a router and second network card, does the system still provide any firewall facilities? I searched the forums and all the published material and haven't found an answer?

The firewall rules are stored in:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/masq

You should use a templates-custom directory to change them
