Title: cant add new email add

I was trying to add news@domain.com, but cannot do it? It says there a system name that already has that name. what service is using "news"?

It's a preallocated user which is used by Usenet "news" software. Google for "NNTP" and "Usenet" and you'll find lots of information about Usenet and its history.
