Title: Versions of SME

Im in a phase of reinstall my sme server, due to a hard disk crash..

There are a couple of versions out there at the moment, and I'm not sure of which to choose.

I saw somewhere that 6.5 are built upon 6.0 and not 6.0.1, does this mean it's not possible to upgrade to 6.5 from 6.0.1?
Where does 7.0 come from? Is this stable enough to use?

The installation is just for my home network, and I'm working as a sysadm with unix/linux, so some manual fixes in the installation and configuration phase are not a problem!  :-)

Hi,

SME 7 is still in testing. And it recomended only to test.

SME 6.5 is fully working. (I've been using it for a long time now and no problems)

SME 6.0.1 is for those that are extra carefull, probably the best for big time production server.
