Title: opening ports on sme?
Post by: bugme on September 10, 2005, 09:37:10 PM
hello,

i did some searching in forums and howtos, but all i could find was how to block ports for AIM, and such.

is there a contrib to install to control open/closed tcp udp ports on SME 6.0?

otherwise, how do i enable/disable/verify via command line?

We need port 49 open, along with port 80, according to our web host, in order to allow some login password or other, as we're unable to access that site, and i've tried tinydns updates and such to no avail.

thanks.
