You can create a basic site by using the create a starter website in the server manager.
If you have a site already to upload to the web server you can do this via winscp or other methods.
Upload to /home/e-smith/files/ibays/primary/html
Remember to delete the index.html file from the html directory.
I hope this helps.
You can also create more ibays and host more sites in these ibays as well.

thx it helped
now the question is when i go to my site i get Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.html on this server.
where do i set it to accept .html
-
Have you set the permissions on the files to say 755 www:www ?
You should not need to enable anything other than ensuring that the permissions are set.
To access the site you should just yuse http://your domain.com or http://your domain.com/foldername or ibay name if you have the contents in another ibay or folder.

Who are you logged in as when you are trying to change the permissions.
If you are using a windows desktop I would install winscp it is very easy to use and very good for setting everything up.
I believe you will need to have root priveleges to change the permissions unless your user has rights to write into the ibay.

No problems glad I could help we have all had our little issues when we started out with SME and Linux.
I have just changed over to a linux desktop and am enjoying the experience. I don't however have hardware issues or play alot of games so that is not an issue for me.
