Title: Squirrel Mail on SME
Post by: Matt on September 19, 2005, 05:49:00 PM
I really need some help here,  I have been using squirrel mail in a ibay for along time now and it all works just fine, but lately I have been trying to figure out how to use the global address work working with MYSQL.  All the information I have found on squirrel mail related sites is aimed at people who know it inside out, unlike me, I was just looking for a simple how to'  So if anyone out there has got a working global addressbook using squrrial mail I would be very grateful of some advice, in fact any solutions to running a global email address book that could work with something like thunderbird on sme would be much appeciated.

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

Just thinking out loud here, but doesn't Thunderbird support LDAP? And doesn't SME have LDAP support built in for users? Not saying how to get it working, but I think you should be able to get it working.
