Post by: adolfas on September 21, 2005, 02:29:44 PM
Hi,

My cache is using lot of memory. I had 256 RAM and it took half of it. Then I added more 256 RAM, but its ocupying more space. Now it uses 219 RAM. How do can I control this? Thanks.

Don't worry about it, it's the way linux works.

I'm sure if you did a search on this, but from what I have read in the past linux adjusts its self for optimal perfomance. It uses as much ram as it can in order to be able to handle request faster.
