Title: PortSentry & LogCheck
Post by: Chris on November 23, 2001, 12:56:46 PM
Hi all,

I am still new at this, so be nice. But i realy have two questions
1. I need some help with Portsentry and logcheck.
I have no idea how to use them or set them up.
I have installed the rpms ok, but from there i am lost. Could somone email me a how toon doing this. I searched the forum and all i came up with was 'check the site'. So i did. but i could not find anything at all.

2. i am interested in setting up webmail. What are the security risks and any other info you can throw at me.

Thanks in advance

Chris

The key to portsentry is in the directory /etc/portsentry - use pico to open the files in there and all will be revealed!!!

Its similar for logcheck as well - email me if you get stuck
