Title: multiple domains
Post by: Ronald Tanis on November 23, 2001, 05:36:32 PM
hello world,

Is it possible with e-smith 4.1.2 or e-smith 5.0 that i can host multiple domains

so by example,
info@domain1.nl must be the same as info@domain.com or info@domain.org

so that i can send an e-mail to info@domain.nl, info@domaincom and info@domain.org, it doesn't matter, it must all come to info@domain.com

all our e-mail adressen must be the same under all the domains.

Thanks for your time,
Ronald

Yes, that is the default behavior -- info is info in all domains, so any message to info in any domain is a message to info in all domains.

The how-to you were directed to explains how to make info a different mailbox for each domain -- which I don't think is what you want.

The default behavior should be perfect for what you want.

The previous post "Scott" is speaking the truth! From the sounds of your post...

All you need to do is add multiple virtual domains. By default mail will go to the same account.
