Title: Netgear PCI Adapter GA311

Just a quick ? Does SME 6.0.1-01 support the Netgear GA311 gigabit adapter at gigabit speed, or do I need to load the linux driver supplied by Netgear this card is working at this time, But I don't know how to check if its running at full duplex 1000 speed

Hoping for a quick responce to this

HI,

see if the output of "dmesg" gives you any hints.
Login to the console, type "dmesg" (no quotes)
look for lines that is network card related...

It may or may not give you info on the network card...

your reply most welcome dmesg reports the driver loaded for this adapter, auto negotiation enabled, correct chipset identified.

I hooked up a gigabit switch and did some transfer tests  
and glad to say that SME 6.01-01 out of the box does support this adapter. :hammer:

.. if memory serves its based on the Realtek 8169 chipset which is supported
