Title: Local networks not accepting LAN address
Post by: markfarey on September 29, 2005, 05:37:55 AM
I've changed my SME server from a server-gateway to a server only and moved it onto the DMZ of a Sonicwall firewall.

I now can't get it to accept my LAN addresses as Local Networks from the admin GUI. I keeps saying "Error: network (derived from network and subnet mask ) has already been added. Did not add new network". However my LAN addresses are not listed and the server will not treat the LAN as local.

Where are the Local Network values stored and how can I recover from this error/bug?

Regards,
Mark.

Hi,

Try going to the http://(your-server)/server-manager
under the menus, there sould be a "Review Configuration" link.

If you need to change it, login  as "admin" and you should be able to change the configuration.

No, that is what is broken.

My DMZ network is 10.0.0.0. When I try to enter 192.168.1.0 (my LAN) as a local network (in the server-manager) it says it already is, but it is not listed on either the Local Networks page or on the Review Configuration page.

If something is broken, you should report it as so, in the bug tracker.
