Title: slow SME 6.01 server
Post by: albatroz on September 30, 2005, 12:36:27 AM
I have a SME 6.01 server with spam assassin and clamav antivus contribs enabled.

But today it started to work veeeeeery slowly.

I have the impression (maybe subjective) that this behaviour was caused by a virus/worm
in one of the computers of the LAN. The reason is that a ps -aux command showed
several instances of clamd with high RAM usage.

How could I discard and solve this issue?

Hi,

Do you have the file scanning option turned on?
If it's set to daily, and you have a lot of files, it will not finish within 24 hours and another scan will start.
