Title: DomainKeys
Post by: terencem on October 05, 2005, 02:49:22 PM
Is anyone interested for or against the inclusion of DomainKeys in SME/Qmail?

For more info see http://antispam.yahoo.com/domainkeys

I'm interested in the subject, per se, and its possible inclusion (qmail patch already exists); but not in promoting it, trashing it or starting WWIII.  :-D

qmail in SME server may not be patched. You can install patched qmail in your own server, but you cannot patch qmail and then distribute it. So if you want integrated domainkeys, you need to do replace qmail with another MTA, or you need to find a way to do it without modifying qmail.

The DomainKeys draft spec has expired, and IETF and Yahoo are both investigating DKIM. DomainKeys iappears to be a dead end.

try setting up SME mail server to send email through your ISP mail server.
