Title: Can sme 6.0.1 or 6.5 do port forwarding ?
Post by: arne on October 07, 2005, 03:01:07 AM
After some testing using an Asterisk phone server on my sme 7.0 gateway, I think my conclusion is that the best choice will be to have those two servers on two different PC's. At least I will try that to make some compare. (At least in my SME 7.0 / Asterisk there is some bugs ..)

So I will need some rearangement with a gateway and a telephone server ...

Question:

If I install SME 6.0.1 or 6.5 on the gateway, can one or both of these do portforwarding from the server-manager panel. I really can not remeber if this function were new on the sme 7.0

If anybody have a sme 6.0.1 or a 6.5 server installation, could you please check out if there is a port forwarding menu function ?

Best reg Arne

It might be useful if you were to read the Users Guide. See the Documentation link to the left.

Thanks for info. I was now aware that the documentation has been updated. I can see that the sme 6.0.1 does support port forwarding.
