Title: Midnight Commander

Can somebody tell me why in Midnight Commander some scripts are a different color and have an "*" next to them?

Does this mean activity, or a file in use?

I know this is a stupid question but I have been wondering for a while.

It is to do with the file permissions.
* means an executable file
