Title: logging email traffic/blocking IM traffic?
Post by: Patrick B on November 27, 2001, 06:43:58 PM
A couple of questions,

1.  Email: Does anyone have instructions for logging email traffic "content" as well as the time/day it was sent received?  I know some of this can be checked out in the SME logs panel, but it doesn't look like it goes to quite the extent I'm looking for.

2.  IM traffic:  Is there a way to block IM (Instant Messaging) traffic for certain IP's only, and perhaps return an error message so the user thinks it's just an AOL problem.  Actually, I'd like to do this with certain web sites for certain users as well, so that when they surf to them a message might just give them a generic browser error.

Ideas/thoughts?  Thanks.

Regards,
Patrick

Isn't there anyone else out there that has gone through this process?  Any and all of your responses are welcome, thanks.
