Title: Suggestions for multi-user tasks manager requested

Must be installable on SME of course!  This is for a volunteer service organization.  The ideal setup would be a sort of lightweight project manager, with events, tasks and individuals assigned to those tasks.  Email reminders would be a must!

I've looked fairly extensively at freshmeat & sourceforge but haven't found that one special something that'll do the job, and am incapable of coding it myself.  

Your suggestions most welcome.  I'll try a few of 'em out and report back.

There's a simple project management tool/timesheet system that's an add-on to Mambo.  Mambo will run on SME and if you don't have Mambo on your SME box there's a contrib somewhere that does it all for you.

The whole Mambo system might be a bit much.  I know there's PHPProjekt, OpenGroupware.org, etc., but am hoping that someone knows of something like "PHPProjekt Lite" that is simple to use.

Since this is for a volunteer organization there's no way to *compel* people to use it; it has to be demonstrably useful so people will *want* to use it.
