Title: Can hostname.com (no WWW) resolve to an ibay?
Post by: silasp on November 03, 2005, 08:43:56 AM
Hi there.
Is there a way to get a web address like
"hostname.com"
to resolve to the correct ibay / external web site on SME server 6?

www.hostname.com, ftp.hostname.com, etc can be sorted easily enough from the "Hostnames and addresses" option in the server-manager. But how do I resolve a subdomain-less web address?

Cheers in advance.
Silas.

it depends on what your dns server is. if it's your sme, you can do just about anything you want.

if your dns is your sme, just add a virutal domain
