I have an embarrasing problem:
I have installed 7.0b5 (in fact I have installed it 5 times, to make sure I did not make a wrong entry.)
I have entered the password for the administrator (I use the same password often, I verified Caps and Num lock.)
After the system reboots and requests login:(still on the server console)
the following all give "login incorrect"
root+password
admin+password
administrator+password
What should it be and/or what did I miss?
(Just to be complete, not because I think this is related: I am using a "fr" keyboard layout, my password does not have any "ambigious" charcters, like "a" our "m" which are in different location on a "fr" layout. The Dynamic DNS pasword, which is visible when entered -and for me the same- shows up as I typed it.)

By chance are you using a EN or US keyboard setting when you install Sme This would cause a problem when you use a FR - French keyboard for administration or login

Thanks for your reply,
I select "fr" as keyboard layout, for the install.
I do not use characters which are different on a US and FR keyboard in my password.
The password shows up correctly when I type it as entry for the Dynamic DNS service.
Can u confirm that login name on the console, which matches the "administrator" pass word entered during the install is "root"? (to get at least that out of the way.)

Prompt login is root
Console login is admin
Server-manager login is admin
Password for all is the SAME
