Title: setting up ftp question

Hello,

  I am tring to set an ibay that I can ftp to it and it would require an user name and password.
Also if it would not need a user name and password to access the web page in the html folder.

how would i set this up ?

I am not sure how to do this, but do remember that any credentials you login with are sent cleartext over the network, so don't use a username/password combination that you care about.

     I am not quite sure if this can be done this way.
Here is what I am tring to setup.
I wanted to make an ibay and setup a virtual domain to access that Ibay for it content. I have a user that I want to be able to ftp to that Ibay and up date there web page in that Ibay.

Is there a way setup up a use name and password to allow only that user to ftp to that ibay?
