I am trying to find out if it is possible to wrap POP, IMAP, and SMTP in ssl to make them secure on V5 of e-smith.
Someone was kind enough to send me a link to a site before but I am interested in knowing if there is a way to do this on e-smith since it is so different from other distros.
I am at a University and having all these usernames and passwords go over the network in plaintext just isn't an option anymore. I know I can avoid this using the secure web interface but I need to do so with POP, IMAP, and SMTP as well.
Thank you,
Daniel
P.S. SS1 and HTTPS can be sniffed in full-duplex now.
