Title: Unable to log in via ftp after chroot
Post by: ajkeane on November 13, 2005, 02:51:59 AM
I have installed the remote user access rpm from dungog to allow me to limit peoples access to a perticular ibay.

I have no issue logging in via ftp until after I try to chroot the user to a perticular folder. Once this has been done I get a 530 error invalid password.

Any ideas?

I have tried uninstalling the rpm and still cannot ftp into the server.

Have tried resetting my password this did not help.

Have reinstalled the RPM and this has not helped.

Have reset the root settings and this has not helped.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix the ftp issues?

I beleive if you install this version it will fix the issue.

smeserver-remoteuseraccess-1.2-2.noarch.rpm

Or at least that is the version I now have installed and it is working.
